I'm a big feta cheese fan, and this is the 'real deal'. This is not a little glob of cubes in oil (what the supermarkets in Japan sometimes have, if they have anything called 'feta'). This is a very tasty and rich feta cheese from Greece. It's made from ewe's and goat's milk, and has a genuine feta cheese flavor--but not a 'heavy' goat's milk flavor (if you are not used to that or are worried about it). Feta cheese goes well in 'Greek salads' of course, but you can simply eat this sliced on crackers or just by the slice.

As is typical of Yoyo Market's pricing and selection, you aren't going to find anything close in price or size by mailorder in Japan. Nor are you going to find this in supermarkets outside of the major cities (if you find it at all).
